Tags: i mean, fuck yeah, ghostbusters, i love how they're dressed, i deplore that for them, as women, to be dressed in such a non-sexualized, non-male-gaze-y way, in a movie like this, is a radically subversive act, but I so love that they did it, and the casually unapologetic relentless *way* they did it, which is the meta-narrative I've come to appreciate about this movie, mostly through the patient instruction, and/or unapologetic squee, of the wonderful people i follow, that it's all so low-key, that the characters are just being themselves, and are visibly just so satisfied and *complete* in themselves, and only resolved to act in that manner, which will in their own opinion, constitute their happiness, without reference to hollywood sexists, or to any person so wholly unconnected with them.
