Tags: pjh reunion, don't see these on tumblr a lot, or IRL, there was one hanging out, here in town last summer, I tried to see it a couple of times, but failed, or dipped, as us birders sometimes say, not sure of the etymology of the term, though I do remember using dip as a kind of slur, when I was young and cruel and unenlightened, so maybe you dip as an active verb, because going to look for a bird, and failing to see it, makes you feel like a dip.
