some random things from today:
– I finally bought an iPad and I’m super excited. It’s going to make everything a lot easier hopefully
– if you recommend any useful apps I would definitely appreciate it
– I’m developing a Bible study pretty much from scratch for the first time ever. It’s kinda scary because I feel really responsible for getting it right and not misrepresenting anything, but also creating something that’s engaging for young people. But I’m also really excited, and it’s coming together well
– this is all a big effort to procrastinate on my assignment that I still don’t understand but is due in a week
iPad apps I use a lot:
This one (obv). As much as I whine about the Tumblr app, it’s probably 70% of my current iPad use
Trello – excellent organizing/documenting/project management tool
YouTube – for watching videos. You may have heard of it.
Kindle – for ebooks
Chrome – as a Safari replacement
Gmail – as a Mail replacement
Twitter – when the Europeans and Americans I follow are mostly asleep and my much-appreciated Aussie and Kiwi follows are too busy living their lives to keep me entertained, I’ll sometimes dip into Twitter.
