Tags: also, I remember watching this movie when I was 7-ish, it blew my mind, i didn't realize movies with live action and grownups, could be silly like this, fascinated by meta, even then, i may have had a crush on natalie wood, note btw that I wasn't 7 when it came out in 65, I was 3, I think I saw it when it first aired on tv, I remember watching it at my mom's house, so it would have been after I was 5, and on a weekend, or during a school vacation, since that's when I got to visit her, my dad would drive me halfway down from Redlands, and she'd drive up halfway from Encinitas, and I'd take my bag, and go from one car to the other, she looked a little like natalie, in that shot with the dark hat and scarf, I suppose that was part of it, my thing for her, because I missed my mom.
