Tags: well, fury road, that's the action climax they're working on, Charlize's harness, so she can hang off the side of the Gigahorse, and the harpoon she's gonna use on Joe, it took three viewings (and I confess a frame-by-frame with a cammed bootleg version), for me to really understand what happened in that sequence, because it is cut so fast, and shows the actual gore so briefly, and you know what?, I'm fine with that, I don't love the movie because it fulfills a revenge fantasy, it was good Joe was gone, but the mechanism of his defeat wasn't something, I particularly needed to see, at least not until I was geekishly deconstructing every moment.
