Tags: also, i think, fury road, q: was it better the second time?, a: yes. very much so., the first time I was dealing with my confusion about how, even though clearly an action movie with explosions and minimal dialog, it was nevertheless missing all the stupid, where was the stupid?, second time I was able to watch it without wondering that, and just appreciate how good it was, i found myself wondering, if the ampas is actually relevant enough, to give charlize a best actress nomination, almost certainly not, which is very much a reflection of the academy's irrelevance, rather than reflecting anything about her performance, which was epic.
