Look at her. She just had a brush with death. What better way to connect with the fragility of life than a reminder that your body is merely a sack of bones and blood? She’ll call her parents and tell them about the incident. She’ll post about it on Facebook. She’ll get a lot of Likes. People will appreciate her more. And she’ll appreciate life just a little bit more. Being reminded that it can all be stripped away from you in just one instant, that’s a gift.

Tags: awa was not completely my thing, though I enjoyed it in my way, but copyright policing is generally something that bugs me, because at least in my limited experience, it is almost always asshattery, rather than a legitimate protection of the original artist, and adult wednesday addams being removed from youtube over claims of copyright infringement, is an excellent example of that, oh and also, this sentiment about the fragility of life, resonates with me, i've had that exact realization, like most people probably.
