How long does this race take? My goodness.
Nine months (ish) by the calendar, of which maybe 7-ish months are actually on the water, but broken up across 9 legs. This leg will be ending in less than a week, and then there will be a brief respite. I’ll probably be getting increasingly excited during that time, though, because leg 5 (the next one) is kind of the leg in terms of the race’s history and significance. At least for me.
Apologies for the spam, though. I realize the large majority of people willing to follow me have little interest in competitive sailing. I try to tag it all “vor”, if that helps avoid it.
