The moon got our back
Funny that I was just looking at this the other day. Noting that yeah, near-earth asteroids are no joke, as it turned out this object ended up being the leftover booster rocket from one of the Apollo missions, such that if it had entered the earth’s atmosphere it wouldn’t have done any appreciable damage.
