I think it means don’t leave me here aloneGifs! Shoutout to the Salton Sea for being so pretty that we literally used #nofilter on it at all. We tried color grading the footage and it just felt like gilding the lily, so everything you see is the color we captured in-camera. CRAZYSAUCE MCAWESOME, RIGHT? 10/10 recommend taking a trip to the Salton Sea/Salvation Mountain if you’re ever in Southern California (bring lots of water though). It would have been 11/10 but there is a slight stench of fish death in the air.
Heh. My last trip (a birding excursion — great birdwatching) was about 25 years ago. Smelled like dead fish then, too. I kept remembering the smell while watching this, and it was fighting with the dreamy mood a little bit, but then the dreamy mood won because OMG is this gorgeous to look at.
