My online friends are important to me.
People who are less familiar with online friendship might view our relationship as not quite real, or at least as less significant than a face-to-face one. Some might even look on it as being more like the relationship one has with a fictional character, or that a child has with an imaginary friend. Maybe that’s true in a limited sense; no one who isn’t snooping over my shoulder ever even sees you. But that’s just a detail; a tiny thing.
I think about that when I listen to this song, one of my favorites by I Am Jen.
