Can we talk about how Paula (Wendy Darling) is wearing heels and I’m wearing flats and I’m still kinda taller than her? I’m 5’1. I’m taller than no one. (Including Juliet/Adele, as some of you pointed out, though she was wearing heels too, and also I think that you all may not realize how short I am.)
Graham (John Darling), on the other hand, is quite delightfully tall. I was weirdly nervous about approaching him for a photo in a way that I wasn’t really with anybody else. Partially I think because I knew way more about the other fandoms and actors, so in the context of VidCon I wasn’t TOO too terribly nervous about it, though still pretty shy. But I really don’t know that much about the Peter and Wendy people aside from Kyle, and I didn’t even know this actor’s name before I read it on his nametag. Also, although he’s my favorite NPW character, it’s because I think he’s hilarious but not because I ever found him particular cute. In person, on the other hand…. Well, just look at that smile! He doesn’t smile like that on the show.
It makes me happy to see Graham so non-John-ishly happy. :-)
