Every day when I get to work, I drop my purse at my desk, grab my mug and a tea bag, and hike all the way across the building for hot water, just so I can walk through the theatre. I have a romance going with the ghost light, the sawdust-smell of the stage, the way the space feels alive, practically vibrating around me.
