My tank was overdue for some maintenance, so I did some last night. I’ve got a bit of an algae issue, but I cleaned the glass and did a gentle rub on the larger leaves, which helped a lot.
The nitrate level was getting up there, but the water change helped bring that back down. The pH was a little low, too, so I nudged that up a bit by not treating the incoming water (which is always really alkaline around here) as much as I normally would.
The fishies seem to approve.
