So yeah remember that one post I made ages ago about wanting to debunk the pop culture Spock and Kirk myths? Well, here’s part two of that segment.

This is for the Anon who asked me if I even watched TOS.
THIS IS ALL ENTIRELY TRUE.
Kirk gets knocked out of his senses or has his mind tampered with and winds up kissing a woman.
He seduces or agrees to be seduced by a female adversary in order to gain the advantage.
He is flirtatious with just about everybody, regardless of gender or species.
But the main thing to remember is that he falls in love very quickly, very easily. He gets *emotionally involved* very easily. That’s not about his dick; it’s about his heart.(I can’t believe I’m defending Kirk. Some days I don’t even like Kirk. I always preferred Spock. But dammit, Jim Kirk is not a slobbering idiot who can’t keep it in his pants.)
Yep, all there. Thank you for that.
(And also: an intelligent and gifted commander. Because they do not give command of starships to STOOPID PEOPLE.)
