Please tell me someone else had the fortunate chance to read Frog and Toad when they were younger.
I read didn’t know it myself as a child, but I read it to both my kids back when they still let me read to them before bedtime. It was pretty much my favorite thing to read to them.
It’s kind of weird the way you read them what they like, and sometimes you (the adult) are just “meh” about it, though you read it anyway, of course, and do your best. But other times you the adult do an inner fist-pump and say a silent “yeah!” when they pick something you really like yourself.
Frog and Toad was that for me.
