I am a mammal using the ability of my distal prehensile appendages to apply synthetic chemical compounds and pigments on my hairless epidermis while I manipulate the keratin growing from my cranium into aesthetic knots so that a machine comprised of a series of mirrors and image-capturing software may adequately project my visage into a network of tubes that instantaneously connect to the glowing screens of tens of thousands of other hairless plantigrade hominids.
Technology.
1. I love that Emily thinks about this stuff.
2. I love that Emily seems to have a decent perspective here: ‘I do this thing and it sounds all weird and nonsensical sometimes, but I do it and it’s nice.’
3. I love that even when I see shiner lips, find it easier to focus on her eyes, and have a weird compulsion to touch her hair, Emily still looks like the same person.
