February 14th
It’s warm out today. It’s February, and it’s warm here. That’s California for you.
Most people love weather like this, and usually I do, too. Give me a beach over a ski lodge any day. But it seems wrong, somehow, for a place to always be sunny. To always be temperate.
It’s unnatural.
That’s the problem with L.A. You’re always stuck. Trapped in this weather, held up on the 405. It feels like you can’t even breathe in too deeply without having to catch your breath.
But maybe that isn’t smog.
Maybe it’s me. Maybe I’m the one who needs to make a change.
