A poll I saw claims that 62% of Americans believe that the earth is less than 6000 years old. This is a free country, so you can believe whatever you want. But let us recall that the Christian Right is basically a mob that trades-in freedom for extasy….I see no difference between the people at Billy Graham’s rallies and dope addicts in a crack-house. But while most dope addicts seek a feeling inside without the corresponding sensory input from outside to trigger it– JUST AS DO CHRISTIAN RIGHT AT THEIR GATHERINGS (Holy Woodstock type elation-in)– most drug addicts only impose themselves on society when they need the means to obtain drugs. Were the drugs legal, they would be so cheap that the addicts could just isoate themselves for moths in a perpetual high until their livers bust!

In contrast, the Christian Right are a predatory lot that seek to impose their version of social morality on others. Worst still, they are also predators for gain, or at least many of their leaders are. When this moron puts forward his “dinosaurs in the arc,” he tells us that it’s not the truth but the story. That kind of PR crap we have been fed as a nation since way back. America beat the Nazis and the Communists because its propaganda PR machine was so much better. But people who love the “high of the lie” instead of the completeness of the truth, like Bush, simply FOLLOW THEIR GUT. You need not be a certified biologist to know what you end up with if you follow your gut to the end. In this case, the Christian right follwed Bush’s and neded up drowining in Bushit….I hope for them that “Jesus saves” even when drowning in a sea of Bushit!
