		<description>I think John Dean&#039;s role in history is primarily what makes his column intriguing. His own experience and relationship to presidential politics is darkly implicit throughout his writing, especially when he writes about contemporary executive deception. He inevitably reminds everyone of the past misery of Watergate and Vietnam, both of which particularly topical right now, without even acknowledging it directly.



Nonetheless, I have to agree about the photograph. You want really creepy though, do an image search of Ehrlichman on yahoo, or corbis.com. *shudder*</description>
