9/11 Survivors Pissed at Bush
Here’s an article from Salon that’s worth enduring the click-through ad for the one-day pass: Bush’s 9/11 coverup? It goes over some things I’ve harped on here before, with some additional details.
I’m really pretty outraged about this one, and more, about the apparent willingness of large chunks of the country to turn a blind eye to it. All that righteous anger that was on display in the wake of 9/11; where’d it go? You remember? “Never forget?”

Educate yourself, you imbecile. Clinton probably had more to do with the build up of 9/11 than Bush did. He had only been in office for a year before it happened.

How can you say Bush is not responsible for 9/11.? If Bush is not responsible for 9/11, how come none of the investigations into why it happened hasn’t been published or looked into. If you ask me Bush knew it was going to happen and did nothing to stop it. He wanted this to happen so he could justify going to war and take away your fundemental rights. I don’t understand why you the American people have had their rights taken away and do nothing. That wouldn’t happen in Canada because we wouldn’t let our Prime Minister get away with it.

I don’t understand how anyone could blame Clinton when it was hard-ass republicans pushing to have millions of your taxpayer’s dollars spent on investigating Clinton’s blowjob. Now Bush blocks the 911 investigation at every turn, while a normal person would think he would want to find out how this happened.

Can someone please explain to me why the American people wanted to impeach President Clinton over a blowjob which he lied about, but when Bush lies about the reason going to war the American people do nothing?

It’s all about the media baby! The rightwing press gives Bush a free pass. This liberal media myth is pushed by right-wing blowhards. If there had been any real reporting on 911, the Iraq war, the 2000 election, the Enron scandal, etc. . . Bush would not be our resident right now!

After 9/11 Bush promised a certain amount of money, I think it was to the Firefighter who had been so heroic . That message went out to the nation but when it was paid, it wasn’t near the money that he had promised. Not unlike the money he promised to give his program, No Child Left Behind. Again, a promise goes out to the nation and then he funds it way under the original amount. Pretty clever!!!
Finally, an EPA report of the World Center area was done immediately after 9/11 so as to alert the condition of the air in terms of how unhealthy it was. This was sent to the White House with the report being so watered down that it about said that it was safe. It is always “his way or the highway.” Plus I think that is downright criminal to withhold that kind of information from survivors who lived in that area or where in the are when 9/11 happened.

i believe bush had something to do with the attacks b/c the bush family is close with the Bin Laden family. They both have been family friends dating all the way back to Bush’s Grandfather’s days in the 1800 Bush’s grandfather was cool with Osama Bin Laden’s Dad. Search google for Prescott Bush and Osama Bin Laden. There is a conspiracy going on. If bush doesn’t become president for a second term we will be hit again b/c of how close the bush family is with the bin laden’s. whoever said bush isn’t responsible and is a good president is ignorant and blind to what bush is doing to this country and other countries

I cannot believe the ignorance of most of the people who have commented on this site. The President of the U.S. has taken the steps that he needed to take after the muslim terrorist attack on 911. He has taken an offensive action against those who responsible and has pushed to bring homeland security to this nation so as to protect your sorry ____s. Many other Americans responded by joining the fight and are currently serving their country in Iraq and Afghanastan. Others like yourselves are sitting around in fantasyland and wishing that this would just all go away so you would not have to think about it! Get a life!

You people sicken me. I don’t agree with all of Bush’s plans, but anyone can clearly see that 9/11 was not Bush’s fault. A conspiricy with Bin Ladden? YOU PEOPLE ARE THE DUMBEST! Bush was clearly concerned about it after it happened. The war in Iraq? He’s doing the best he can right now. He wants to HELP Iraq, unlike so many of you imbeciles who say “if they wanted help they would have asked for it.” how can they without a government? He wants to give them one. With people like Saddam Husane, girls were raped in the streets with nothing being done about it! Bush is trying to give them the help they need. People who sit on their buts blaming Bush for the war CLEARLY don’t think about all the Americans who VOLUNTEERED for the war. I’m just as depressed as other people over all the lives lost in the war, but don’t blame Bush. This is war. In war, people die. But all you people go all out against Bush because he’s a Republican. I may be from the state of Minnesota and I might not even be old enough to vote yet, but I’m RELIEVED that Bush is our president. As for gas prices, you people don’t NEED to go on your stupid car cruzing. You think oil will last forever? It won’t. Preserve the oil you have in your car for when you truly need it untill we start looking at other sources. But anyway, people who don’t want to help Iraq gain freedom and their own government, don’t truly appreciate or deserve the freedom they have in America. It all gets taken for granted.
