welcome to the fold immy2g,

My only suggestion would be along the lines of what jbc said ... try and keep your stories on a single topic... linking to 2 or 3 other sites in a single story is great -- but only if they're all about the same basic issue/concept. (it not only helps the category pages make sense, but also searching.)

A good indicator is allways to ask yourself: does everything I've said directly relate to a single title that i can give this story? if the answer is no, then just post multiple stories

Personally, i think this story would have made a great 4 or 5 stories.

I look forward to seeing more of your posts.

Welcome, immy2g! Thanks for accepting my invitation.

Everyone else: immy2g isn't necessarily one of the right-leaning folks I had spoken of inviting to participate on the site, but he (she?) has been sending in great story suggestions via email for a while now, so in the interest of expanding the perspectives here, I offered him (her?) an author account.

I made a few smallish formatting changes to your story in the interest of clarity; hope that was okay. I personally don't have a problem with the length (it would be pretty hypocritical of me if I did, given the mammoth postings I've inflicted on the site). In my own postings I try to limit stories to one theme, partly because it makes the stories group better on the category pages, but I don't know; I'd say that's up to you.

Thanks again for joining in!
