Another thing, I think that muslim people have stood for themselves better than christians especially in Lebanon. And I won’t go into the details about who was right or wrong in the last three decades in lebanon. I don’t want muslim people to think that I don’t respect them or that we as christians are better or special because we really aren’t. We just happen to know the truth which is Christ and we are not special, we are just forgiven for accepting God’s gift (his only son). The cur’an speaks about Jesus in many places and many muslim people would be surprised to know that the cur’an speaks of Jesus fulfilling judgement day. Personnally, I believe that Islam is not God’s work and that Mohamed is the false prophet of the bible. But I think he is one of the most intelligent people who lived in history for creating the fastest growing religion in the world. The reasons are many for believing he is not God’s prophet, first of them are some extremist passages in the cur’an which promote hate for the infidels. Secondly, I know that Mohamed had married a nine year old girl (which I find very offensive and not God like.) The last reason is Islam’s vision of paradise which is based on pure earthly desires (beautiful women, pure virgins and wine and even little pure boys !!! ).

At my college in Buffalo, NY I have started an Arabic club called the Organization of Arab Students in Solidarity. The purpose of this club is to promote the good qualities of our culture, our Arab culture. I try to present our culture in the most positive way I can. One important aspect of our club, however, is that we do not allow religion to play a role. We present our activies as Arabic traditions, not Muslim or Christian. We also try to display unity among the 23 Arab countries. What you are doing in this forum is feeding the fire that the Western world has started. Before the countries of Europe separated our lands into the borders they are today, there was no Syria, there was no Lebanon, and there were no borders separating people, we were ALL ARABS. I am not sayin we should go back to that, all I am saying is that we have allowed the West to separate our people and caused us to fight amongst eachother. The Arab World is so backwards because we focus more on small issues such as what religion is better, gossip, and how to offend other Arabs. What we should be focussed on is increasing our quality of life, learning how to enterprise, and promote the sharing ideas among one another. Let each person decide who they want to pray to, and let each person decide how to live their own life. Don’t have a grudge against an entire group of people just because of their religion. There are always a few bad people in every religion. I don’t hate all Muslims just because a small percentage hate everyone else, and the same the same can go for Christians as well. There’s even a branch of “christianity” that hates everyone who is not White-Anglo Saxon Prosestant. These people are called the Ku Klux Klan. They call themselves Christian, yet they hate Arabs, Asians, Blacks, etc. regardless if they were Christian or not. Anyway, back to my point, the Middle East would be a much more prosperous place to live if we learned how to work with one another. If we continue to find ways to separate ourselves from others, we will continue our trend of having one of the highest unemployment rates in the world. If you are going to reply to my message, do not do it in the context of blaming the people of an entire religion. Religions promote peace equality, its unfortunate that some people manipulate it to conform to their ignorance.

First i wanna say that the americans cannot be defeated in Iraq, they just leave. simply look at the numbers and u will see that for every american there are maybe 10 iraqis dead.
When people in your country get sick they come to lebanon to buy medicine, coz at home u have to use ur country’s medicine wich sucks (syria can be qualified as communist).
I have a syrian gardener in my house in the mountain, who brought his family with him. The father is as dumb as animal, and beats his wife, the sons are less dumb than the father but they are a bunch of ungratefull rats.
If you read your history (and try not reading something from ur country coz it’s all lies), you will find that lebanese and israelis never fought each other, during the war, they never touched any christian, and never aimed at killing anyone who wasn’t with some stupid anti-israeli organisations.
Maybe you haven’t heard this also, but the biggest dogfight in history between fighter planes was in lebanon, between you and israel. Guess who won? The israelis shot down all your planes (wich were 90) and lost none (0). LOL.
And also you will find that when there was a fight on land between lebnese and syrians, we nearly always managed to kick your asses, even when we were outnumbered.

My friend’s father is a french colonel who came to help the lebanese army, and he laughs at the syrian army when he sees it, coz it’s crap.

You all think that palestiniens are so good and so innocent (i’m not saying that the jews are), but when they came to lebanon, we gave them money, we gave them food, there were even some palestinians who found shelter in churches. But because one stupid agreement they began arming themselves and tried to take control of the country, so they are as bad, if not worse than the israelis.
