Michael Jackson Testifies

Appearing in a packed courtroom to testify about his failure to perform a 1999 concert, Michael Jackson must have elicited audible gasps from the gallery when he removed a surgical mask to reveal the latest incarnation of his face. And no, I will not be devoting a wiki page to subsequent appearances.

Dick Gregory’s Comments On Michael Jackson

    By Bakari Akil II

Dick Gregory, activist, health guru, ex-comedian as well as advisor to many

influential people is a man who has been a mainstay in American culture for

decades. As a friend of Michael Jackson for many years he recently offered

insight to the current situation involving Mr. Jackson and provided a

perspective that has not been evident in many media outlets.

On a radio show entitled, Make it Plain, hosted by WOL’s Mark Thompson in

Washington, D.C., Dick Gregory stated in response to the mad media frenzy

and tilt toward guilt coverage, that those who believe in Michael Jackson’s

guilt or innocence should first ask for truth to be exposed. Whether it is

damaging for Michael Jackson or not, he insisted that truth is the most

    important aspect of this issue.

However, Mr. Gregory does not believe that Mr. Jackson i! s guilty of the

charges and rased many questions concerning the events leading up to the

actions of law enforcement and consequent media coverage.

He asked why was it necessary for 40 police officers and 20 FBI agents to

raid Michael Jackson’s property? More specifically, why were FBI agents

present, especially since the allegations against Mr. Jackson are not a

federal offense? He also questioned the legitimacy of the claim of law

enforcement that they did not know of Mr. Jackson’s whereabouts and the

    timing of the raid.

According to Mr. Gregory, there is a monetary element to this entire

situation. He states that Michael Jackson purchased the Beatles catalog for

nearly $48 million and it is now worth $1.5 billion. He also owns the rights

to the Elvis catalog and found out after his purchase of the Beatles

collection that these rights also included ownership of Little Richard’s

catalog of which, Michael Jackson promptly cal! led Mr. Richard and returned

    it to him.

His suspici! ons aris e from the fact that Michael Jackson has taken out loans

and his lenders wanted collateral, which was none other than his Beatles

catalog. Mr. Gregory stated that Michael Jackson did not mind offering that

up as collateral because every time he would come out with a record he would

make around $500 million from his efforts. For those who doubt those claims,

he explained that there is a mischaracterization that occurs when people

think about what is success for Michael Jackson. Although he may not achieve

the outrageous sales of his more youthful days a majority of successful

artists sales would pale by comparison.

Mr. Gregory found it odd that every time Michael Jackson is about to come

out with an album or moneymaking venture he is hit with a scandal and that

this situation is no different. He also admonished the audience not to

forget that Michael Jackson embarrassed SONY and music mogul Tommy Mottola

when he claimed that they wer! e racist and that they took advanage of and

    mistreated Black artists.

Not holding anything back, Mr. Gregory stated that Rev. Al Sharpton, who

came to the defense of Michael Jackson during this time was soon overwhelmed

by media coverage of a video tape which showed individuals attempting to

frame him in a drug deal. He went even further stating that this type of

behavior could be traced to Bill Cosby and the suspicious murder of his son

Ennis, who was gunned down while changing the tire of his Mercedes on a

California highway. He claims that this happened after Mr. Cosby hinted that

he wanted to purchase NBC when it was up for sale.

Dick Gregory also alleged that when they showed Michael Jackson in

handcuffs, it was symbolic and when they handcuffed him, they handcuffed us

all (Black communities). He stated that they allowed Mr. Jackson to board

his private plane in Las Vegas, fly back to California and then handcuffed

him ! and immediately took them off when inside the police station.! Accordi ng

to Mr. Gregory, law enforcement had not judged him an extreme flight risk if

they let him fly in and obviously not a danger if they immediately uncuffed

him once inside, so why the posturing?

Mr. Gregory further intensified his discourse by reiterating that the value

of Michael Jackson’s Beatles catalog cannot be underestimated and asserted

that Mr. Jackson could easily be killed, have it consequently ruled a

suicide and thus his collection will be forfeited in lieu of his debt.

He further commented that people such as Liz Taylor, whom he knows Michael

Jackson would rush to their aid in times of need, have not come to his

defense or spoke out on his behalf. He also talked about how many people

take “Michael” for a joke, yet he is very intelligent and that he knows what

    is going on.

Yet for all his concerns, Dick Gregory stated that Michael Jackson will

“come out clean” in this dilemma and he called for people to say a ! daily

prayer for the “truth tocome out” about this situation concerning Mr.

Jackson at 12:00 P.M., no matter what the time zone. He believes,

ultimately, people will be shocked at what that truth is.

In the final analysis, many may balk at the comments and observations of Mr.

Gregory, believing that governmental officials, media organizations and

corporations in the music business may be beyond collusion or conspiracies

(when two or more make a conscious effort to bring about a certain reality),

which is fine. Yet, free and independent thought that Mr. Gregory exhibits

is absolutely necessary, especially in an era where fact and fiction has

taken an equal seat in mainstream media and thought.

Hopefully, people will not jump on the bandwagon of mainstream reactionary

thought and will judge this situation objectively and think about how the

constant stream of Black men being vilified as sexual and violent deviants

will affect Black communities and Black individuals in general. I will not

even address how these events also help serve as a smokescreen to other

national and international events, but if we do not become more vigilant of

our surroundings, it maybe a mistake we may all regret.

He wakes up in the morning and looks at the skull he has become. There is only a yellowish white membrane thinly stretched over the bony structure posing as skin. The large and scary eyes glisten and beg for moisture as their lids have been pulled tight from multiple surgeries. They are framed with tattoo ink fading into a nice blue violet color. There is only a large nostril left of the once healthy nose. Frayed at the edges with rotting scar tissue. Oh how the sunken, hollow cheeks yearn for the meat scraped away so long ago. Dried and wrinkled skin represent the ghost of lips and like the twisted wrap of a polish sausage his chin is a nasty piece of work. It is now time for the process to begin. The latex nub is fastened to the remaining nose-bridge with a magnet. Snap! In it goes. And now we spackle the puddy on for texture. Spray with Krylon, eggshell white always works and a red crayone for a messy illusion of mouth pigment. The large and fake looking black wig ought to hide the jaged ,purple, raised scars from too many face lifts.

Jesse Jackson said the arrest was so “impeccably timed that it leads to even more suspicions. … It seems aimed to destroy this media mogul.”

He also questioned whether the singer was being treated more harshly than other celebrities —— namely white ones. In an interview with The Associated Press, Jackson noted that the bail in Phil Spector’s murder case was $1 million while Jackson’s was $3 million, and questioned why there was no massive televised raid on Rush Limbaugh’s home when reports surfaced that he had bought illegal drugs.

Ten years ago, Jackson settled another molestation suit involving a young boy. A secretary who worked in the law office that represented the boy now says she believes it was extortion.

“It was just as it was reported by the investigators: An elaborate extortion scheme,” Geraldine Hughes told CBS News Early Show National Correspondent Hattie Kauffman. “I know it because I was able to see what was going on in the inside.”

I’m really getting tireed of you dillusional people defending this obvious pedophile. He matches the discription of a gay man in every sense of the word, yet he refuses to get a boyfriend and you never even hear rumours of boyfriends. But what you do get is the strange stories and pictures of children. The obsession with children is completely not normal for a forty-five year old man. If this guy was living down your street, you and your children would stay the fuch away from him. And look at all the self mutilation. He has chopped off his face and now looks like a burn victim, and he did this on propose. His music isn’t as good as it used to be either. As a matter of fact it outright sucks. Everytime he gives an interview, he speaks in a girlish whisper and is on the verge of tears. He has obviously told the black community that black people are ugly by spending all that money to have his face scraped away to look like a burned white person rather than the good looking black dude that he was. And he has the balls to call Sony a racist record company. I really can’t believe this. And in a move of complete stupidiy, hires the defense lawyer of a murderer to represent him. As if to say that if Mark Geregos has the bravery to defend Scott Peterson’s sinking ship, then maybe he’ll be crazy enough to help out a pedophile. Johnny Cochron isn’t even stupid enough to defend Michael anymore. The first time was one thing, and that was before Michael’s nose fell off and he dangled his child out of a window. Yes, that’s right his nose rotted off. It’s been confirmed you bags of shit!

TRUTHTELLER? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

And why is it that a decent, quiet, charming, productive White countryside will, with the influx of browns and blacks, quickly become a cesspool of crime, drug dealing, prostitution, and mugging?

What white countryside? Do you mean the countryside that never belonged to whites in the first place and was colonized after the genocide of millions of black/brown indigenous, aboriginal/Native Americans? Do you mean the countryside or land whose sovereignty was stolen by the whites through murder, lies and fake treaties? The Native Americans never sold any land to anyone because ‘selling’ is a concept foreign to them. For the land or earth is the Mother of all things and its father the Sky. The land or Nature cannot be separated from its people. ‘Selling’ is a European term.

It was colonization that forced us into ‘reservations’ otherwise know today as ‘ghettos’ and created a ‘caste’ society’ with white on top and black on the bottom. Realistically and non-propagandically speaking…Black or white is not a race. Black and white started out as a definition for social status. Now this definition has changed.

Europeans immigrated to the states to escape oppression. Only to steal another nations soveriegnty, land, resources, etc. and treat them original inhabitants as low class citizens. This is akin to breaking into someone’s house, food, etc. (country/land/resources) and then stealing the house away from them, then acting like the person they stole the house from never had anything in the first place. Killing the many family members of the children of the house, separating the family, then raising the children in schools to believe that they are black, negro, native american, and that they are savage and can never be civilized when in realistically they are the descendants of victims of the greatest down-played holocaust that ever existed, mass genocide, kidnapping, abduction, murder and still the victims of oppression to this day.

Michael Jackson is a true humanitarian, an example to us all. He has devoted much time and money to a wide range of charities. He loves children and takes time out when touring secretly visting sick children. He also has special rooms at his home Neverland for sick and terminally ill children to stay over. He was listed in the 2000 edition of the Guiness Book Of World Records for breaking the world record for the “Most Charities Supported By a Pop Star”. It states that Michael Jackson has supported 39 charity organizations either with monetary donations through sponsorships of their projects or by participating in their silent auction.

We have made an alphabetical list of known charities that Michael Jackson has individualy supported publically throughout his career. Michael Jackson also helped set up Heal The World Foundation, the charities this has supported have not been listed. Read our Heal The World/kids page for details of this foundation.

Patience is a virtue, DeadSun. As for refusing to testify, as I said, there was no criminal case issued because of the fruitless investigation, not because the child didn’t testify. Had the investigation turned UP evidence, the court might have used the option of making the boy a Ward of the Court, requiring minors to testify w/o parental consent. Even with this, the family could STILL pursue Jacko in civil court, settle, or even win because guilt or innocence is irrelevent in civil law – do you not recall the OJ Simpson civil lawsuit (two separate legal spheres, my friend)? Secondly, at one point the media was putting a selective emphasis on the boy’s testimony. The court would not have needed a mountain of evidence though. Had they even found just 1 alleged pic of nude minors (there was said to be “hundreds”), this would have been enough to indict Jacko without the boy’s testimony at all. The issue isn’t that the evidence wasn’t “good enough,” it’s that there WAS no evidence. Also, the boy’s description of Jacko’s genitals, surprisingly, completely mismatched the actual physical description. That was a shock to the media. It was barely reported and everyone else apparently missed it.

Nothing but a glorified child molester with all those fools drooling over him what a jerk he dont know the diference between right and wrong its just idiotic the way the liberal left-wing news media drools over him

  15. lioness Says:

You do understand that to get into the Guiness Book of World Records, you must tell them yourself – it is not an honor rewarded. Also, please note that his listing in the Book is for most charities supported by a pop star, not, in fact, most money donated! I could donate $1 to more charities, and then get in the GBoWR.
Keep your facts straight and your minds open. Yes, I said open. In order to be truly open minded, the possibility of guilt must also be considered. Nobody knows Michael Jackson, no matter how much you pretend or fantasize or want to believe – that is delusional. Hit records in the 80’s does not equate with automatic innocence. (or guilt.) Michael is just a normal human being, like anyone else. If he were just some guy down the street, most of you would be as quick to assume his guilt as many would with any Catholic priest.
Michael is not a God, or Jesus. Jesus was never a materialistic man, nor was he so unhappy with the face God gave him that he mutilated it. Nor did he write nasty songs about the DA calling him a “cold man” and using a gunshot at the end. No… Jesus forgave his enemies.
Michael Jackson may pretend to be gentle, kind, and innocent, but his actions, angry words, and bitter hatred and paranoia toward law enforcement prove otherwise. Don’t believe everything you hear – question it sometimes, do some background research. What is uncovered will show you something totally different. Of course, if you do not want to see all sides of the story, and prefer to remain close minded, suit yourself. Good luck in life!

  16. Magpie Says:

You will notice that on that list of charities that Mikey supports, there isn’t a single of mention of any charity connected to vitiligo: You know, that disease that he supposedly suffers from that makes his skin white.

And Eternal Youth, you need to stop getting your legal information from reruns of Law and Order. In California and victim of sexual assault cannot be compelled to testify: parental consent is not an issue and declaring the kid a ward of the court would accomplish nothing. And in the early 90’s the prevalent thinking was: no victim, no case. Simple as that. I have been unable to find a single case where an offender was convicted when the victim refused to testify.

And as for the “mismatched” genitalia description. You have no proof for that claim beyond an unnamed source quoted int he press. The only person prepared to go on record on that issue (Bill Dworin, who was a police officer working on the case) has stated unequivocally that the description did match.

  17. J. Rohkenrohle Says:

Watch the misspellings, people. Pro or Con Mr. Jackson, it makes you look dumb. If you can’t spell, why should we assume you can think?

Fact: Mr. Jackson has voluntarily had his head mercilessly whittled on, without thought to the consequences. This is not a sign of a healthy, rational individual. He affects feminine mannerisms. He is eccentric. Fact: Mr. Jackson does seem to have a fascination with young male children. Mr. Jackson may not be well suited to having children around (I speak here of the window dangling incident). Fact: Racism is an ugly, if convenient, accusation to make against people, but it doesn’t change the facts in the least.

Did he molest children? I have no idea. But it is a serious charge, and an inexcusable offense, if true. There are enough circumstantial indications to lead to it being worth investigation. If we shouldn’t presume his guilt before the facts come out, then we shouldn’t presume his innocence, either. I don’t know. There’s something clearly enough wrong with the man, but that doesn’t necessarily make him Public Enemy Number One, or a child molester, either.

  18. Rei-Chan Says:

Keep clear minds. I can’t say whether he is innocent or guilty because I don’t believe the tabloids or media. Money is what talks here. But I do think that his first 1993 case seems rather suspicious. And now in 2003, it seems suspicious again. A person who molests kids is not satisfied, and like many therapists say, they keep on doing it. Yet it seems suspicious that there were not any calls at all during this 10 year interval. IF He was a child molester, he would have done it more often, wouldn’t he? And it is also strange that out of all the children that spent time with MJ, none of them claimed he had ever done them wrong. Only 1 in 1993, and now it has been looked upon as exortion because of all the suspicious acts involved. I don’t know much about the 2003 case, but I stay in the middle
