Kournikova Takes Title… As ‘Sexiest Woman’

Professional tennis player Anna Kournikova, who has yet to win a major tournament yet still pulls down a reported $30,000 a day in endorsements and modelling jobs, came out on top in British men’s magazine FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll, published today.

I believe that modelling is a good thing, when it comes to the influences which role models provide. I think that it is a good thing because sporty girls often have issues with personal atractiveness. Females who are involved in sports are often labelled with the ‘Butch’ stereotype. Young females need to know that you can be a sports athlete and still be and feel sexy. All women have self-esteem issues regarding how desireable they are, even if they don’t admit it. It’s not about being a sell-out to young fans.
