Faint galaxy in Pisces.At 91x 3 other galaxies in the same field, not identified though.All of them difficult objects better seen with averted vision.

NGC6702 and 6703 is a pair of faint galaxies in Lyra.At 91x both faint at the same field.NGC6703 a little brightr though.Nice objects well off the beaten track in Lyra!

A nice little galaxy next to the star beta And(Mirach).Its also called Mirach's ghost.A good name indeed.It looks like an "optical ghost" moving the telescope around though shows that its a real object.

Second starparty/astrocamping of the Greek Astronomical League in Parnon mountain.The comet C/2004 K4 was in Bootes.Easy with binoculars.Thru the 8" f/4.5 dob at 91x it was large with a small tail and a well defined nucleus.

A faint galaxy in Corona Borealis.Just visible with averted vision as a faint smudge at 91x.Well,I observed it just because I wanted to see a deep sky object in an "empty" constellation according to most observing guides.

The famous north America nebula is faint.Under the fine dark skies of Parnon mountain I could easily follow the "mexican coast" up to the "gulf of mexico" with direct vision.No filter used.28 x(32mm erfle).

Large and faint open cluster in Lyra.Looked like a faint nebula at 45x(20mm plossl).Its a VERY old open cluster.Older than NGC188 in Cepheus.Its an overlooked object, in the shadow of M57 and M56,the two well known Lyra higlights...Discovered during the 19th century by the famous comet observer Winnecke.

Went to Parnon mountain for the 1st 2004 starparty/astrocamping of the greek astronomical leaugue.Observed many deep sky objects.Galaxy NGC4565 in Coma was a fine needle of lightthru the 8" dob with 32 mm erfle eyepiece.

The air was steady.Using a 6.3 mm plossl (144x)the secondary was steadily visible between the difraction spikes.Nice binary and nice test for the steadiness of the air.

Observed C/2004 K4 (Linear) with 8.8mm UWA eyepiece(104x).Brighter since my last observation.Estimated magnitude 8.5.With averted vision I suspected a starlike nucleus.No tail visible.

Nice bright globular at the Ophiuchus-Scorpius border.In fact Burnham's celestial handbook lists it under Scorpius.According to the Cartes du Ciel software its in Ophiuchus.Thru the 8.8mm UWA(104x)it was like a bright comet without tail.Bright center.No hint of resolution.
M12 (Globular Cluster, in Ophiuchus)

Nice globular like its neighbour (M10) although smaller.Easily resolved with a 8.8mm UWA eyepiece(104x).The cluster gave me the impression of having an iregular shape.

Nice globular cluster!Easily resolved with a 8.8mm UWA eyepiece(104x).Many stars visible with direct vision at its edges.With averted vision stars visible across the face of the globular over a milky background.
