This morning I observed the sun with my Sunspotter Solar Scope. AR2818 seams to be growing rapidly & shows three big sunspots in the group. There is plenty of facula surrounding the sunspots.

I just finished observing the sun with my solar telescope. There are two sunspot groups with plenty of facula on the sun's face. AR2816 has grown since yesterday & it is now approaching the center of the sun's face. AR2817 is about to rotate out of the sun's face in a couple of days. These two sunspot groups are really impressive!

This morning, I observed the sun with my solar telescope. I was able to view the Sunspot group AR2816. The group had three sunspots that I was able to see. Yesterday I could not see this group so that tells me the sunspots are growing.

Late this morning, I observed two sunspots with my solar telescope. Sunspot #AR2785 is still huge while nearby, sunspot#AR2784 is about half the size. The facula around the large spot was really nice to look at. Also, two nights ago, I studied Tycho Crater on the moon's south pole. The crater rays were really obvious. Looking at Tycho just before full moon makes a big difference on how much you can see.

This afternoon, I observed the sun with my Solar scope. Sunspot group AR2783 contains a big sunspot with several smaller ones trailing behind. My scope was only able to see the big spot because clouds were interfering.

This morning I observed Sunspot # AR 2767 with my Sun Spotter Solar Telescope. In a few days, this spot will be rotating off of the Sun's face. The spot is still not complex but the facula shows nicely around it. Sunspot # AR 2768 just rotated onto the Sun's face but it's so tiny, my scope can't pick it up.

This morning, I observed the Sun with my Sunspotter Solar Telescope. The sunspot 2767 is looking very good as it crosses the Sun's face. Right now, it doesn't look like a complex sunspot system so big auroras are not likely to happen.

This morning, I observed the sun with my Sun Spotter Solar Telescope. Sunspot # AR 2765 is now on the face of the sun. When I look at it directly, I see a single sunspot but when I photograph it & enlarge the image, I can see two smaller spots with facula. I'm looking forward to tracking it across the sun's face.

This morning, I observed the sun with my Sunspotter Solar Telescope. After spewing out about 3 CMEs, sunspot #2741 is now starting to decay. It will be rotating off the sun's face in a few days.

This morning, I observed the sun with my Sunspotter Solar Telescope. One of the sunspots, #2740, is decaying & hard to see in my scope. The other spot, #2741, is very large with facula around it. With bad weather coming, I won't be able to observe the sun for awhile.

This morning I observed sunspots #2740 & 2741 on the face of the sun. Both spots are still large & both of them are surrounded by facula. It's nice to see the sun have spots on it.

This morning, I was able to watch the return of old sunspot 2738 which is now renamed 2740. It still looks the same as before with one black sunspot & facula around it. There is another sunspot, # 2741, which should rotate onto the sun's face tomorrow or the day after.

This morning, I was finally able to observe a sunspot with my Sunspotter Solar Telescope. AR2738 is a dark sunspot with facula around it. So far it doesn't seem to be getting any bigger but I'll check tomorrow.

This morning, after reading about a new sunspot grouping forming, I took out my solar telescope. Sunspot grouping AR2720 contains two easy to see sunspots. I could not see the other group AR2719 because the spots in the group were to small for my solar scope.

This morning I observed the sun with my Sunspotter Solar Telescope. A tiny new sunspot has appeared on the face of the sun. The problem is, I can't see it on my solar scope. I'll try tomorrow.

Finally, I am able to see sunspots on the sun with my Sunspooter Solar Telescope. AR2715 is two sunspots together that seem to be growing. It's almost at the center of the sun's face now. AR2713 is two more sunspots getting ready to rotate off the sun's face. The sun is fairly active now.
